Continuing Education
Dr. Jusino believes strongly in the value of continuing education for himself,
and the All Star Team. In June of 2006, the Staff attended a three day seminar
furthering their understanding of the Damon 2 System. Dr. Damon was a guest
speaker, and everyone returned with additional knowledge and understanding.
In September of 2008, Dr. Jusino and the All Star Team attended the
Gorman Institute, held in downtown Chicago. The Gorman Institute is
designed for orthodontic practices dedicated to achieving superior patient care
and service. The Gorman Institute presented a host of continuing education
opportunities, including developing skills for peak performance.
In February of 2010, Dr. Jusino and the All Star Team attended training in
Las Vegas, which involved the new practice management system scheduled
for implementation at the beginning of May, 2010.
Dr. Jusino also attends a monthly study group with (8) other Orthodontic
Specialists. The Doctors take turns meeting at each other's offices to discuss
topics such as difficult cases, and practice management philosophies. There
is never an attitude of competition, only a willingness to help each other.
The members of Dr. Jusino's study group also share a legal agreement
between themselves whereby they will come to the assistance of any doctor
within the group who is incapacitated for any reason. Fortunately, Dr. Jusino
has never experienced a reason to take advantage of this "insurance policy."
He is "feeling great, and very healthy!"
Members of the All Star Team are enrolled in the Academy of Orthodontic
Assisting, and are required to complete training earning thirty hours
of continuing education credits. The All Star Team achieved Gold status
in May of 2010.
