Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Read all about it...Old Stadium Closes, New Stadium Opens
An air of melancholy presided over the old stadium on June 21, 2007, as the All Star Team packed
their bags at 30330 W. 12 Mile Road, and waited for the "wire bender" to throw his last pitch of a
nineteen year spread.
With an attitude of gratitude, Dr. Jusino wound up, and threw his final pitch. It was an inside throw,
and Kevon Butler was lucky enough to catch the last ball. The old stadium, which had been home
base for so many years, rocked with a mixture of cheers and tears.
It was the last game of an era, and to mark the closure of the grand old stadium, Dr. Jusino and
the All Star Team observed a moment of silence. Homage and honor was paid to the great fans
whose support through the years gave life to the old stadium. Their loyalty, commitment and
faithfulness will never be forgotten. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank them for giving us
the courage to follow our dreams, and reach for the stars.
Following an intense Spring Training, Dr. Jusino and the All Star Team prepared for opening day
in the new stadium. The team huddled to discuss upcoming game strategy, and assign positions.
The "wire bender" made it clear this wasn't just any game, this was the big one. This was the
game a player dreams about when the game isn't being played.
With an impressive starting line up, Dr. Jusino and the All Star Team celebrated opening day at
the new stadium, 27600 Middlebelt, on July 2, 2007.
First up to bat was Paige Martin who hit a single with a brand new set of braces! Not bad for a
rookie who has a good looking future in front of her. A little time under her belt, and Paige will
be batting a million dollar smile!
Next up to bat was Kuni Hotta. Kuni has been a member of the All Star Team for a while now,
and his batting average is showing a lot of improvement. Kuni's new equipment makes it a breeze
for him to get on base.
A very confident Alyssa Kirsch stepped up to home plate. Alyssa knows how this game is played.
She's a strong team player, and with the addition of her new lower braces, Alyssa was equipped to
load the bases.
An element of excitement was in the air, and with bases loaded, the crowds began to cheer. The
new stadium was coming to life!
Waiting patiently, and with braces of stainless steel, Jonathon Pattah knew what he had to do.
Only a veteran with years of experience like Jonathon should be called in for a moment like this.
Showing his expertise, and proving he was the man for the job, Jonathon hit the grand slam of all
grand slams!
Dr. Jusino and the All Star Team awarded Jonathon the special honor of being the first patient to
have his braces removed in the new stadium. Jonathon humbly accepted his award, and promised
to return the following week for his retainer.
By the end of opening day, fans were lining up just to get a glimpse of the new digs, and to see for
themselves what the excitement was about.
Someone famous said, "if you build it, they will come." Dr. Jusino and the All Star Team have
committed the future to this ideal, and they look forward to welcoming you personally to their
brand new, state of the art "Field of Dreams."
